When running a fluid-injected (or oil-injected) rotary screw compressor, choosing the right cooling fluid and maintaining its integrity are critical to the compressor's overall reliability, efficiency, and lifespan.

The compressor oils from Kaeser SIGMA Fluid MOL protect against wear, have a long service life, provide good lubrication in all temperature ranges, and aid in condensate treatment.

The mineral-based SIGMA Fluid MOL from Kaeser is a screw compressor cooling fluid.

According to ISO 3448, the viscosity class is VG 46.
230°C flash point (ASTM test) according to D92
Viscosity at 40 degrees Celsius (ASTM test): 46 mm2/s
According to ASTM D445, viscosity at 100°C is 6.9 mm2/s.
